Fieldtrip on Wednesday, Oct. 10th
We are going to the Oregon Gardens to learn about plant adaptations, various food webs, and exmaine one of the most important decomposers, the WORM!
This fieldtrip is possible because of the Oregon Garden 5th Grade Environmental Educational Program. It is a free hands-on science-based learning experience that is funded by Roth's Benefit Education Foundation. To learn more go to http://www.oregongarden.org/Education.htm.
We leave promptly at 9:15 am and return at 2:00pm. Chaperones, the bus will be very full since all the 5th graders are going, therefore we ask that you follow us in your own car or meet us there. You might want to carpool with another chaperone.
It's going to be a GREAT 2012-2013 School Year!
I hope everyone had a restful, fun filled summer vacation. I have been back in the classroom preparing for students to arrive. I'm anxiously waiting to meet everyone and kick off a great school year.
I hope you can make it to the open house on Tuesday Sept. 4th from 4:30-6:00. Students are welcome to bring their supplies.
Look forward to meeting you!
Mrs. Lee
